▼ Cloning and Expression
By screening a testis cDNA library using CTAGE1 (608856) probes, Usener et al. (2003) cloned CTAGE3. RT-PCR detected CTAGE3 expression in fetal brain, heart, and spleen, and in adult colon, mammary gland, ovary, placenta, stomach, and testis, but not in any other tissues examined. CTAGE3 was expressed in 4 of 11 mycosis fungoides (254400) tissues and in a T-zone lymphoma.
